guapo - so if you lose 4 hands in a row, you will have lost 12x??? Too big a hole to dig out of for me.Sounds like I'll stick with Dahl. |

el hombre - This is NOT a criticism of your method, but it shows what can happen. Out of curiousity, I grabbed BJT and played the first 27 hands with your method and a $25 unit. I lost $750 in the equivalant of 16 minutes. YES, these were TERRIBLE hands but it shows what can happen. Good luck, it IS interesting. |

zebra addendum: if i win a double, split, or blackjack that satisfies the next step or two in the progression, then i skip that step which allows me to get deeper into the progression a hand or two faster. i.e. if i double my 3x bet and win, then i've won 6 units, which satisfies (is equivalent to winning) the 1st (3x), 2nd (1x), and 3rd (1.5x) bets in the series. so my next bet after winning the doubled 3x bet is 2x and i'm two bets closer to getting into the meaty part of the series where i have the opportunity to get my bets and my profits up. |

my progression (i call it the zebra progression) goes 3x; 1x; 1.5x (or 1.6x if playing an odd numbered unit); 2x; 3x; 5x; 7x; 10x; 10x; 4x; 4x until a loss. the whole gimmick is based on winning that first 3x bet and locking in* a profit for the series. i find this more interesting and less of a grind than dahl's -- though of course it requires a bit more risk tolerance. i'm a green chip player and last night lost over $500 as i couldn't get on track, but i've had reasonable success with this progression in the past.
* it's not really locked in as lost doubles and splits down the line can consume a series profit. |

Mr. Ed |
If I were a progressionist, here's how I would play: Start with two hands with a minimum bet. After a win, if I can pull away one chip without leaving an empty spot, I'd pull it back. I'd pull back additional bets due to splits and doubles. Then redistribute chips to get the same bet in each spot. I'd set a benchmark of 8 chips. Once I have two stacks of 8 chips, I'd only add one chip each time I could.....Say I win both hands. Now I bet 2 and 1. Say I win both again. Now I bet 3 and 2. Say I win 3 and lose 2. Now I bet 3 and 2. Say I double the 3, win and push the 2. Now I bet 5 and 5. Say I split the 5, win and lose, and push the other 5. Now I bet 4 and 5.....There ya go - Call it the "Mr. Ed System". Sound like fun? |

" If you're fortunate enough to win a split/double, you should take those profits and run."
Dude... obviously it sounds to me that you play with SCARED MONEY the way you phrased that sentence. YOu make it sound like winning a double or split is very hard to accomplish!! Well, you are wrong. Because those are chances where you even have BETTER chances then you normally do if you just hit or stand on a split or double chance. I have easily pressed my $200 profit from $25, got a doubledown opportunity and made $400 from that instance. It's not difficult at all to win at doubling down and splitting if you know what to do, and are playing with BS at the very least. The way you worded it sounds like you dont know BS. I could be wrong, but it's just what I Grasped. Eh, betting single units makes me want to REGRET after winning those knowing that had I continued to PRESS I would've been up so much just like that!!
...Still waiting for someone to answer my previous posts though!! |

Not another money gimmick ad! There's gotta be a way to block those things. If it's not blackjack, don't post it, please!
Anyway, someone was mentioning earlier about the "Let it Ride" system where you press a bet that has been split/doubled down or blackjacked. That is the complete opposite of what I would do. If you're fortunate enough to win a split/double, you should take those profits and run. Or perhaps, just bet single units to ride out the winning streak. But after you lose one hand, walk away a winner! |

EASY WAY TO EARN MONEY...INSTANT THOUSANDS
This is no scam, read it!!!!!! IT REALLY WORKS!!!!!!
A little while back, I was browsing through newsgroup, just like you are now and came across an article similar to this that said you could make thousands dollars within weeks with only an initial investment of $6.00! So I thought, "Yeah, right, this must be a scam", but like most of us, I was curious, so I kept reading.
Like most of us I was a little skeptical and a little worried about the legal aspects of it : All, So I checked it out with the U.S. Post Office (1-800-725-2161) and they confirmed that it is indeed legal! Then I invested the measly $6.00. Well GUESS WHAT!!?. Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked!
Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works?
STEP 1: Get 6 separate pieces of paper and write the following on each piece of paper "PLEASE PUT ME ON YOUR MAILING LIST."
get 6 US $1.00 bills and place ONE inside EACH of the 6 pieces of paper so the bill will not be seen through the envelope to prevent thievery. Next, place one paper in each stating the above phrase, your name and address, and a $1.00 bill. What you are doing is creating a service by this. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY LEGAL! Mail the 6 envelopes to the following
addresses:
#1) Marcello Lavontei
3 Borthwick Road
Stratford
England
E15 1UD
#2) Mike Degen
10 Deer Run
Lebanon, NJ 08833
#3) Lorraine Hutchinson
PO Box 23951
London
England
E12 5YP
#4) Andres Muguira
11021 NE 123 APT= C-105
Kirkland WA 98034
#5) Elena West
PO Box 55130
3820 Limassol
Cyprus
#6) Tom Alberts
Schuttershof 9
4341 AA Arnemuiden
Netherlands
STEP 2: Now take the #1 name off the list that you see above, move the other names up (6 becomes 5, 5 becomes 4, etc?.) and add YOUR Name as number 6 on the list.
STEP 3: Change anything you need to, but try to keep this article as close to original as possible. Now, post your amended article to at least 200 newsgroups, message board. (I think there are close to 24,000 groups) All you need is 200, but remember, the more you post, the more money you make!
You do not need to re-type this entire letter to do your own posting. Simply put your cursor at the beginning of this letter and drag your : Cursor to the bottom of this document, and select 'copy' from the edit menu. This will copy the entire letter into the computer memory. Step 2) Open a blank 'notepad' file and place your cursor at the top of the blank page. From the 'edit' menu select 'paste'. This will paste a copy of the letter into notepad so that you can add your name to the list. Step 3) save your new notepad file as a .txt file. If you want to do your postings in different sittings, you'll always have this file to go back to. : Step 4) Use Netscape or Internet explorer and try searching for various newsgroups (on-line forums, message boards, chat sites, discussions.) Just example you log on any search engine like yahoo.com,google.com,altavista.com,excite.com then you search with this subject ?millionaire message board? or ?money making message board? or ?employment message board? or ?money making discussions? or ?money making forum? or ?business message board? etc. You will find thousand & thousand message board. Click one by one then you will find the option post a new message. : Step 5) Visit these message boards and post this article as a new message by highlighting the text of this letter and selecting paste from the edit menu. Fill in the Subject, this will be the header that everyone sees as they scroll through the list of postings in a particular group, click the post message button. You're done with your first one!. : Congratulations? THAT'S IT! All you have to do is jump to different newsgroups and post away, after you get the hang of it, and it will take about 30 seconds for each newsgroup! ** REMEMBER, THE MORE NEWSGROUPS OR MESSAGE BOARD YOU POST IN, THE MORE MONEY YOU EILL MAKE!! BUT YOU HAVE TO POST A MINIMUM OF 200** That's it! You will begin receiving money from around the world within days! You may eventually can rent a P.O. Box due to the large amount of mail you will receive. If you wish to stay anonymous, you can invent a name to use, as long as the postman will deliver it. **JUST MAKE SURE ALL THE ADDRESSES ARE CORRECT. ** : Now the WHY part: Out of 200 postings, say I receive only 5 replies (a very low example). So then I Made $5.00 with my name at #6 on the letter. Now, each of the 5 persons who just sent me $1.00 make the MINIMUM 200 postings, each with my name at #5 and only 5 persons respond to each of the original 5, that is another $25.00 for me, now those 25 each make 200 MINIMUM posts with my name at #4 and only 5 replies each, I will bring in an additional :$125.00! Now, those 125 persons turn around and post the MINIMUM 200 with my name at #3 and only receive 5 replies each, I will make an additional $625.00! OK, now here is the fun part, each of those 625 persons post a MINIMUM 200 letters with my name at #2 and they only receive 5 replies, that just made me $3,125.00!!! Those 3,125 persons will all deliver this message to 200 newsgroups with my name at #1 and if still 5 persons per 200 newsgroups react I will receive $15,625.00! With an original investment of only $6.00! AMAZING! When your name is no longer on the list, you just take latest posting in the newsgroups, and send out another $6.00 to names on the list, putting your name at number 6 again. And start posting again. The thing to remember is, do you realize that thousands of people all over the world are joining the internet and reading these articles everyday, JUST LIKE YOU are now!! So can you afford $6.. and see if it really works?? I think so? People have said, 'what if the plan is played out and no one sends you: the money? So what are the chances of that happening when there are tons of new honest users and new honest people who are joining the internet and newsgroups everyday and are willing to give it a try?
Remember, play FAIRLY and HONESTLY and this will work. Seriously, most people think this is a scam, but you actually do get thousands of dollars out of it, it is NOT another stupid scam, if people follow through with sending out $6, it works!!!!!

Midnite, you are 100% accurate... last time I was at the casino, I saw 2 megagamblers betting stacks of green and black about 8 inches high and one of the guys was shaking as if he has a knife to his neck (sorry for the acute analogy, but that's what popped to my brain, LoL)... On the other hand, my problem is knowing how to properly progress my bet. I dont have a known progression (that i actually know the name to), but I tend to double my original bet if I win and stay at min. if I lose. i.e. if the table min. is $5 I'd start 5, then if I win it'd be $10, win again $20, $40, and then if I win that time the problem begins because that's already what, 3-4 wins straight and I've won $80 like that? So... with the betting strategy I use... do I push it ALL and hope to win that too (even if the odds are against me to win that next one due to that chart you showed me?), or should I just go back to minimum? You see, when I double my bet continuously when I win, I kinda hesistate putting it out... what would you guys do if this was your betting style? Because you just never know if you're gonna win or lose!!! |

Betting Comfort Zone : We all have one and it is different, for different players. I have seen a players hands shake making a double down, on a five dollar bet. I have also seen players slide out a stack of black chips and not bat an eye. If you ever just hit a hand that should you should have doubled down on, you have found your comfort zone. You didn't want to put that much at risk. But if it is right to double down with a $2.00 bet, it is still right to do it with a $20.00 or $200.00 bet. You can't let the money play the hand. The same with not hitting a hand, that you know you should, becasue you might bust. You have exceeded your comfort zone and are now letting the money play the hand. |
