For anyone going to Mohegan Sun, there switching over to cs machines, they suck. I know it's not supposed to give the house or the player an advantage, but man did that dealer turn over a lot of 20's for himself. First time I lost money at BJ this year.
Or was I just due? Ha ha! I know Trop Guy, "get another excuse" right?
Well it was still fun for a while, until I was towards the end of my bankroll and I knew I didn't have enough to come back. This just makes me want to learn to count all the more, still practising but I'm not nearly ready for the casinos. Later all. |

There is another flaw. When you have a three card soft 18 against a 3-6 it tells you that it is a mistake not to double. Sorry, usually you cannot double on 3 cards. |

Has anyone else found flaws in this game? In the bonus round the dealer showed a 2 and I had 8-4. I took a hit and it counted it as a mistake. It said "Usually don't risk busting when the dealer shows 2 through 6 but this is a rare case". Other than this annoying glitch, it's a great tune up for a session at a real table. |

Grandma,
Just play hit or stand until you get 100% regularly on the difficult game.

I encountered a bug. When the dealer delt a lot of cards to himself (all 4 aces, 2 twos, and something else low I think), the game went to black. However I refreshed and it was back to the beginning of a new game.
Just thought I'd let you know! |

Sorry, that link doesn't wrok for some reason, here's the info from that site regarding new decks: When new cards are introduced into the game the players are at more of a disadvantage than if the cards have been in play for awhile. This is because new decks of cards are in a predefined order that contain 10-valued card clumps which are bad for the players and they are not completely broken up by the casino wash and initial shuffle. So when new cards are introduced into the game it is best not to play until the cards have been in play for awhile and shuffled for the second time. After the second shuffle the cards will be about as random as they will ever get. |

I use a positive and negative progressions in betting. The positive progression portion is simply adding one unit to your previous wager amount after each winning bet. The negative progression portion is a very gradual increase of staying at the same level, then increasing by one unit. The point of the negative progression is not to make a profit, but to stay in the game with enought cash to capitalize when the table turns back into your favor to quickly reach the goal of doubling your session buy-in. My starting point is always 2 units. An example of the above on a $5 min. table would be...
Progressive - 2,1,2,3,4,5,etc. ($10, $5, $10, $15 , $20, $25 and so on until you bust). After a loss it's back to the start of 2 units. Negative progression - 2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5. ($10, $10, $15, $15, $20, $20,)After a win it's back to the start of 2 units.
I leave the table if I lose 6 hands in a row or I double my session buy-in which is $100 on a $5 table, $200 on a $10 or $500 on a $25 table. This might appear to be complitcated or an extreme way of betting however more often than not...you will make money. This advise is worth trying. If your system works for you, stick with it. If you have no system then give it a shot. Good luck. |

Frank-It is getting harder all the time to find a S-17. (dealer stands with A-6) It is to your advantage if they do stand. If the dealer hits the A-6, you give up - 0.190 for single deck. - 0.025 for double deck and - 0.215 for the 6 deck shoe. |
