What are your experiences with blackjack? How did you begin? What did you win?
I found a blackjack DVD for four dollars in a final-sale junk box in a department store. I learned how to play blackjack and taught myself basic blackjack and I practiced for six months. Then I went to my first casino with $100. I sat at a table that had a minimum $10 bet to maximum bet of $100. I put $60 on the table and in about two hours I turned it into $300. Then I lost it all along with the $40 that I still had in my pocket. My mistake was that I waited too long which is what the casino wanted. They kept putting my name into a drawing for an unknown something and the drawing was to take place at eleven o'clock. Somehow I missed the drawing. I should have left when I became bored and started making mistakes, but still had a profit. I do not care for drawings anymore because they are for cheap jerseys and baseball caps.

My second visit to a casino was a bad one because I was dead tired. I worked three shifts at two jobs with a three hour sleep after the first two shifts. The three hours sleep did nothing for me. At the 37.5 hour mark my friend dragged me to the casino. Before we went to the casino, I proved to my friend how good I was at blackjack. On a computer I played several hands of blackjack and won 35 out of 50 hands of blackjack (not including ties between me and the dealer). Also, on my kitchen table we played blackjack with six decks of cards with my friend as the dealer and me playing two hands of blackjack at the same time. We played as though we were at a $5/$50 table. I made a $400 profit in about 30 minutes. At the casino $5/$50 table, I started with $700 and went home with $240. I was too tired to play properly and I know that I made at least five mistakes and most of the time I could not remember how much my previous bet was. I fell asleep several times at the blackjack table as well. At closing time, a lady came to our table and told us that after three hands of blackjack that our table would be closed. I decided to wake up. In those last three hands of blackjack I turned my last $50 into $240 and then me and my friend went home to sleep. I learned that you never play blackjack when you are tired.

For my third visit to a casino I took $400 with me and came home with $70. At a $5/$50 table I made a $95 profit and then I made a mistake. My mistake was letting my friend drag me to a table called Extreme 21. Basic blackjack strategy does not work on Extreme 21. I made about $200 profit and then started losing it during long losing streaks because I was bored and I was accidently using basic blackjack strategy too often. I won't be playing extreme 21 anymore.

When I go to a casino now, I try my best to make a $200 profit without getting bored or falling asleep and I stick to a regular blackjack table ($5/$50 or $10/$100). And I do not care for drawings for jerseys and baseball caps. I am still practicing blackjack at home and I am trying to figure out a way around losing streaks which can last through seven to eleven hands of blackjack. Normally with basic strategy losing streaks are only two to four hands long and if you manage your money good you can make a profit even if the losing streak is five hands long. As for card counting, I do not do that yet . I am still having fun and good luck with basic strategy and good guessing, and doubling down.
So, What are your first experiences with blackjack? How did you begin? What did you win?

At the casino in my neighbourhood I am now a good player and I make a profit almost every time. At my last visit I sat at a $5/$50 table ($5 minimum, $50 maximum bet). Starting with $500, I made a $215 profit then decided to leave the casino. However, my favorite chair at the $10/$100 table was open so I decided to try for another $100 profit. Because of a losing streak I lost $300, but later won $225 and therefore went home with $640 for a $140 profit. What is exciting is that if I had not lost the $300 then my profit would have been $440. The future looks good.

Just one more thing: when I play at a $5 table I always try to keep my bets around $5 and never more than $25. Gota go.

While practicing my blackjack at home with five decks of cards, I decided to see what would happen if I were to train six people to PLAY BLACKJACK MY WAY. Including myself there were seven of us betting a minimum of $25 per hand of Blackjack. All these players were under my control, I made their decisions for them. After twenty hands of Blackjack we had a $5,200 profit. I think that that is pretty good for twenty minutes of play in my imaginary casino. During another practice game of Blackjack going one-on-one against the dealer, going through five decks of cards just once (total play time was 20 minutes), I made a thirty-five chip profit. I did this while betting a minimum of one chip. Those thirty-five chips could be $5 chips or they could be $25 chips. So, that could be $125 at a five dollar table or at the high roller table which has a minimum bet of $25 that would be $875. In another game I was pretending that I was at a $50/$1000 table going one-on-one against the dealer and I made a 51 chip profit (each chip is worth $25 so that is a $1275 profit). In all of my practice games, a 25 chip profit is normal. Five decks of cards means about 50 hands of blackjack. In Edmonton there are high limit tables that have $50 and $100 minimum table limits and these I can only dream about. I can see myself at the $25 table and maybe once in a while I might try the $50 table. For myself, going through five decks of cards just once is what I call one game of Blackjack and it takes about twenty minutes. Of course 51 chips is my record, so that 35 chip profit I just told you about is a little above average. At a real casino I have gone
one-on-one against a Blackjack dealer and he complemented me on my very good luck, but after a short time other players came to my table and they brought their bossiness and bad attitudes with them. They try to tell me how to play their way (because my way is a little different). At roullete about nine times out of ten I make a profit, but roullete is a slow game and often somebodys elbow gets in your face and new players squeeze their way between other players forcing someone like me to end up at one end of the table where it is hard to play because you have to do a lot of long reaching which I do not like to do. I shall continue practicing my Blackjack and see what the future holds.

I wish that when I go to a real casino, that I could take a team with me. I am getting pretty good at making the dealer bust.
If I had five friends with me and they all stood on their first two
cards and I make the dealer bust, you can just imagine the
profits my team would make. I prefer to sit in chair six "third base"
so all blackjack hands are basically me against the dealer and I
often win every second or third hand of play. The way I manage
my money, I can play five hands in a row and still make a profit.
But, I am a loner and play with strangers at my table and I don't
always get chair six "third base." I am not a card counter and may never be.

I am getting better all the time when practicing blackjack at home with six decks of cards and playing as though there are up to five players at the table. Using only basic strategy I have been winning about every third or fourth hand of blackjack. But intuition and examining the other players cards is helping me to win almost every second hand of play. I have learned to read the cards without card counting. I am so excited. The weird thing is that I consider myself to still be a beginner because I see a lot of good players. The future looks good.

I just went through four decks of cards twice, going one-on-one against the dealer, which is about eighty hands of blackjack and I made a 69 chip profit. Wow, I am getting good!

Someone wants to know my theory about team play. If I were to create a team of BlackJack players, there are two things that we could do as a team to make money.
(1) I would sit in chair six (third base) and my six friends would stand on their first two cards and I would try my best to make the dealer bust. (secret stuff removed from here). During one of my experimenting sessions at a real casino, while sitting in chair six (third base), I kept winning and making the dealer bust and the players at my table kept winning. Two pit bosses came and stood on either side of the BlackJack dealer and started giving me the evil eye . In about 20 hands of BlackJack I had won about 14 of those hands . I soon left with a $175 profit and I think that only a few of my bets were over $10. I was in and out of the casino in less than an hour. And that $175 plus my origional $200 were all in five dollar chips in 15 stacks of five chips and 15 stacks of any chips would upset any pit boss.
(2) If I were to train a team of BlackJack players they would learn my version of Basic Strategy including my variations which are related to the idea mentioned above. BYE FOR NOW.

Whenever I play BlackJack I make hundreds of dollars each day (play money). When a dealer has a 10 value card showing, there are 9 ways he can beat your 15 or 16, so you may as well hit on those hands. The dealer can get 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen King Ace, or two low cards totaling 7 to 11. If you can surrender your two card 15 or 16 then do so. As for a three card 15 or 16, you hit on them.

I am now practicing my BlackJack playing two or three hands at a time. Going through five decks of cards twice at a $25/200 table, betting a minimum $50 (double the table minimum because that is the rule when playing two or more hands at the same time), I made $2525 in about one hour while playing three hands of blackjack at the same time. Last night I played two hands of blackjack at the same practice table and made $600 after going through five decks of cards just once. I use perfect basic strategy, discipline and no doubling down the big big bets. When the time is right I will play in a real casino.
