G Money Mike, Thanks for the info 2002-09-18 19:23:19
Mike G Money...I find that the strip is like a circus, that you have two walk blocks upon blocks, in the middle of about a billion people to get to the next attraction..not fun for me. On the other hand if you're going for serious gaming and not the family atmosphere, I recomend checking out the Fremont Street, (Downtown area)of couse that's just my personal opinion. 2002-09-16 22:17:18
G Money I'm leaving for Vegas in a week and looking for an update about the Vegas playing conditions? What does the strip look like and what does downtown look like? 2002-09-16 19:54:58
Mike Hey London, at least you have the satisfaction of knowing you're the one that knows what he's doing, huh? (I hope you win more than they do :) 2002-09-14 09:58:56
london player do any of you play using basic strategy and if so do you get complaints from other players who think that you are playing the game wrong. i find this happens a lot of the time when i pull a card on 16 when the dealer is showing a 7,8,9,10,A . 2002-09-13 12:05:45
Gato Beat'em up MidNite. Wish you tell us you win the tourney. Good cards, God Speed... 2002-09-10 05:38:06
Midnite Way to go, Gato. I leave for Vegas tomorrow. Be there for a week. 2002-09-10 03:56:15
Gato Hi London. I read in a post below -way below due to this poor man fellow- that Midnite Gambler is going soon to a great tournament in Vegas. Maybe he wants to tell us about this experience. By the way: Today I made my way to the All Time High Scores List, and I am very very happy. Best regards from México city. 2002-09-09 01:24:04
london player can anyone tell me if they have played in any blackjack tournaments in vegas.i have read in a few books that most of the players are useless (just like over here in the uk)is it worth the trip as i am finding it hard to win any money at london casinos due to the players who are just out to enjoy a night out.ihave tried playing just against the dealer and then as soon as people see you doing well they jump in and ruin the game 2002-09-08 14:50:25
rs if you listen to poorman rich man you will be a poor man poorer man 2002-09-08 14:43:38
Midnite Babe, you asked why not double your 11, against the dealers Ace. The dealer will bust less, when he has an Ace up, than any other card. 2002-09-08 06:33:55
andy russell smarter to play a 25 dollar table by yourself, or a 10 dollar table with three others.? 2002-09-08 01:22:37
baberuth I always hit dealer A..with my 11(not double dwn)..any advice on this..I know in general people double down..just wondering why?..tks in advance, the babe 2002-09-07 16:00:07
Gato No Mike, there are no casinos in Mexico, yet. There is a project of a law which -hopefully- will be approved this year, but gambling is not legal yet. That´s why I tried online gambling. There is a link in HoS links page to the site I dedicated to this subject. The URL is: http://www.colfym.org/onlinegambling Feel free to visit. 2002-09-04 05:16:33
Gato Good for you Trop. As they say: No need to change the pitcher if he is winning. Keep it up!!!! 2002-09-04 05:12:46
Mike Hey Gato, Isn't there casino's in Mexico? I'm going to San Felipe next week, is there casinos in Baja, California? 2002-09-02 13:35:40
Trop Guy Hey Gato, I am not doubting that the game involves mathematic calculations: The fact is when I split two's I win most of the time. What I am trying to relay is that this just "works" for me. When I find out it doesn't any more I will stop doing it, but it has been working for me for at least 5 years. 2002-09-01 20:07:36
