Hi guys. I thank you very much for your trip reports. I'm planning a LV trip in the middle of october, and will put in practice the skills and speed I am still improving in this wondeful site. These hints about two decks tables are gold to me, since I count cards using unbalanced KO rookie system.
For those of you who have some questions or doubts about HoS strategy rules (strategies or whatever) let me tell you that there are some small variants from strategies recommended by different experts in different sites. About Trop's "discovery" on splitting twos I would strongly advice Trop and ppl interested on the mathematics of the different strategies systems to go and check this wonderful site: www.bj21.com.
It happens to be that all strategy tables (or cards) are based both in mathematical calculations and statistical methods that determine which is the best option for a given player's and dealer's hands situations. Splitting twos is not adviced out of doing it against dealer's 2 to 7 for reasons like those.
Best regards from México City. |

Anyone have any experience with the Indian casinos in San Diego County? |

ok you are missing the point about me driving over an hour to get there......so think about that in your scenario, and ask yourself if you would get up and leave after driving over an hour, after only playing thirty minutes and being up $150.00....i just felt like playing longer simply because it takes me so long to get to the casino, and also i don't know when the next trip i make to the casino will be....Now if I lived close to a casino, after being up $150.00 and only playing thirty minutes i would have no problem leaving, and definatelly would leave after count was bad....i am a good player, and i could be sucessful, that is why i want to move to Vegas, to be close to the casino..... |

Hey Andy, take Midnight's advise. If you don't know when to quit yet I doubt you will make it a week as a professional gambler. It sounds easy to become one but first learn as much as you can about this and then make your decision. Good Luck!! |

hey MIDNITE, it puzzles me to why you said that I am not ready. Unless you know me, and have seen me play, then I wouldn't think you would have any way of knowing what I am ready for. Please let me know why you said that I wasn't ready. |

Oh, forgot to mention that my success at the Monte Carlo was on double deck (still pays 3-2 BJ) Fun, nice dealers and pit people. |

Just got back from Vegas, stayed at the aladdin. They offer surrender, but not on 6-5 single deck. Didn't really like that casino too much. Loved the Monte Carlo and came out up 200, plus its beautiful. Venetian treated me well. Barbary Coast was the only place I saw with any under-$10 tables, with the caveat that "dealer does not check hole card unless Ace is showing" |
