DP Detroit Neil, Please look at my 12/31 message. I have re-read all the strategy info and still cannot find the answer. I am a new player and am interested in your answer. Thanks 2003-01-06 18:17:26
bill ok, now that I have criticised, let me say that the premise of the game is wonderful. I do have problems with soft hands at the casinos and I suffer the wrath of the other players. I am not so much as concerned about them though as I am about loosing my bankroll to quickly. Happy New Year! And I wish there was a version of this for my IPAQ handheld. 2003-01-05 15:46:42
bill A/6 vs. a dealers 3. I hit (which was wrong I guess) but the message came up saying that "there are no rules for doubling some soft aces". Yes, I may have played my hand wrong, but the message is definately out of whack. The message should not say something about "doubling" when no double was made. 2003-01-05 15:31:56
olddad Doubledown ace/ace vs. dealer's six? Forget it or not? 2003-01-05 14:16:12
tony since you would doubledown on a soft 18 vs. 4 you should hit with a 3 card soft 18 vs. 4 2003-01-02 11:01:23
VinceJS Is there a bug with soft 18? I stood with a (three-card) soft 18 vs. a 4 upcard and the program flagged it as an error. According to my basic strategy you're only supposed to hit soft 18 vs. 9, 10, or A? 2002-12-31 13:23:40
DP Detroit Do I use the same strategy for 12 vs. dealer 2 or three if I have 3 (or more) cards? Or is it the same as the strategy for 2 cards? Also, what about the A,7 A,6 A,5 strategy if you have more than 2 cards (i.e. A, 2, 5)? ...same basic strategy? ..treat it the same? I have been criticized at the tables (Windsor) for treating these the same, but I have been doing well! Also FYI Windsor Casino has made EVERY blackjack table no mid-shoe entry: some are glad, some are not. 2002-12-31 10:13:52
Trop Guy Yo Demod_boxalot, I think you are almost right about SOME people using a program. I have scored higher than 25 but I know it is physically impossible to get a score in the 40's without having some EXTRA help. Those guys should admit it instead of acting so cool. 30's - Maybe. 40's - NO WAY JOSE! 2002-12-30 13:53:38
london player aaron+gwynn;you will probably find that you will be better off playing in a casino where you are either playing with just you against the dealer or playing at a full table,if you play at a table where players keep on opening and closing boxes you will nearly always lose your money, don't just take my word for it, try it and see.good luck 2002-12-30 10:23:57
Aaron Gwynn. Unless you count, the odds are always for the Casino. I play Foxwoods pretty often. (8-deck, early surrender, Double after split.) About a month ago, I was on a hot streak. Now I've cooled off significantly. No matter how well you play, the dealer is going to take your money in the long run. Following this type of basic strategy will give you the best shot, though. Good luck! 2002-12-29 17:24:30
gwynn I PLAYED THIS ALL DAY AND I RARELY END UP WITH CASH ARE UR ODDS THIS BAD IN REAL PLAY 2002-12-29 16:45:51
london player kaywana ettinoffe;this is a blackjack message board not a scamers board, please go elsewhere and try and rip people off 2002-12-28 16:34:55
london player rafal;the game does insist that you do hit when the dealer has 2 or 3 ,but only when you have a 12 or less or any soft hand. 2002-12-28 16:32:50
Rafal Starmach That little game that you have running. Well you guys hould get your basic strageties correct. You have a flaw. That game insists that you don't hit when a dealer is showing 6 or less. This is incorrect you fools. You should not hit on a dealers 4-6. YOU SHOULD HIT on a dealers 2 or 3 face card. Check your blackjack books you fools 2002-12-28 12:12:34
KAYWANA ETTINOFFE (deleted b/c it was spam) 2002-12-28 10:49:23
london player demod.i am not using a program to get a score in the high twenties,i have just been practicing a lot.i practice on this site nearly everyday,i am not bragging but i do get 100% most of the time.all it takes is a lot of practice, good luck and when you go into a casino make sure you know the basic strategy inside out, even if the other players tell you that you are playing the game wrong don't take any notice.you will see them walk out before you {with less money} 2002-12-27 16:11:31
demod_boxalot Do you think the high-enders like London Player are using a program? Seems physically impossible to score above 25 bonus points... 2002-12-27 10:12:32
