sorry bout the spelling, im a wee bit stoned. basically i mean, a souble means the dealer will also get a card when i get my card? and a split is where i play 2 hands? |

Hi Gavriano, you double and split to increase your bet when the odds are most favoritable for you, that means when the dealer is showing a bust card, ie. 3456, then you double your bet if you have between 9 and 11 in your hand,or split a pair of 2's, 3's 6's 7's 8's or 9's..not 4's 5's or 10 value cards.I hope I didn't confuse anyone :) |

To Confused: Hit a 12 but dont hit a 13 versus a dealers 2 or 3. Hit an 11 but not a 12 versus a dealers 4,5,6. a/7 versus a dealer's 3? double down. 4/4 versus a dealers 4 is a hit. |

Hi guys, I've read conflicting information around basic strategy involving the following (6-8 decks, double down after split allowed, surrender allowed):
holding 12 against dealer's 3
holding 12 agianst dealer's 2
holding A/7 against dealer's 3
holding 4/4 against dealer's 4
can anyone tell me what they think? |
